>tfw i can't pronounce the german r
How the fuck do you do this???
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
I can't pronounce Spanish or French R. Wtf is wrong with R man?
>>68095833
you don't understand. you have to roll the r in your throat or some shit like this
https://youtu.be/ckFEhgb4YRA
It's not possible
>>68095833
it's cursed
>tfw couldn't pronounce the R in English and sounded like a retard when saying "war" and also "hole" (not R but still)
I am the quintessential autist.
>>68095808
It's doable, but I'm having a hard time getting it into sentences. Easy to do with my thongue, but throat is a whole new level of compounded autism.
>>68095808
>tfw still cant pronouce english Th after word ending with s
>>68095808
I can't either, because I am from North Germany. We don't accent the Nazi-"r", this makes us superior to Rest Germany
>>68096223
So if it's done lightly, is it still good? I can do that, but heavier pronunciation gets me. My sisters actually thought I was having an attack.
>>68096223
holy shit, really? i don't have to pronounce the r in my throat?
>>68095808
>i can't pronounce the german r

Try to pronounce "car" and now, don't actually pronounce it. Just stop and the root of your tongue would be blocking to back of your mouth.
ㄱ <- this is a Korean letter for the hard G sound, as in "gay."
Now look at the picture, your tongue must look like this, and this is why the letter looks like that because Korean consonants look like the shape of tongue or teeth or lips that make them.
So now, with your tongue blocking (not hard, actually it shouldn't touch the back of your mouth. ), Breathe out hard. When the air makes the back of your mouth vibrate, you've got the sound. Now work on it to make it natural.

yo deutsche friendo, why do some people says ch like "sh" ad others like "ghh"and whats the most patrician way to pronounce it?
Lehrerin just tell us to pronounce it however the fuck we can.
>>68096437
Forgot picture.
>>68096445
Depends on where it is in the word my, man.

why are anglos so worthless at pronouncing "r" any other way than they're used to? I do rolled "r"s, throat "r"s and the "english r" without a problem.
Why can't oldworlders speak perfect English?
Even Canadians speak better English than Her Majesty's holy land.
>>68096445
>ghh
do you mean "ch" pronounced like "k"?
>Chemie -> Kemie?
Don't do it, it sounds horrible. only savages from Germany's South West do that.
>>68096312
>>68096352
Na that's totally fine. Sure, when reading poetry that was written in Standart German it can sound better and give a change to play with the pronunciation.
If you >>68096312 pronounce the "r" the Spanish way you should be fine
>>68096587
Why doesn't America speak German? We've sent you enough people, we've sent our best!
>>68096637
>tfw German descendant from immigrants in the 19th century
>don't speak a lick of German
H-heh, uh, well, we have great food at least.
>>68096685
Nevermind, learning German isn't as hard as you may think because of all those le difficult German language memes.
Just binge watch the "Das Boot" 6hrs mini series and you'll speak fluent German soon.
>>68096637
Kewl, Spanish 'r' is fine. Tyvm sir.
>>68096203
