Brazilian military is pretty shit.

It's mostly a welfare systems for high-ranking officers and their families.

It's mostly conscript based and the conscripts only get to shoot their rifles once in their entire service. Conscripts are used to clean officer's houses, mow the lawn and carry stuff around. Drug dealing and alcoholic beverages are rampant inside the barracks. Combat vehicles get no maintenance whatsoever.
