The insult for someone from the USA is Yankee, not Gringo. La Pampa Gringa is basically farming towns inhabited by Italians, Germans and Swiss, nothing about the USA.

We use Gringo and Russo to describe people with very white features (blonde hair, and blue eyes), too.

Ruso is used for people from former Tsarist Russia, which includes almost all Ashkenazi Jews in Argentina who were from Russian occupied Poland.

Turco is used for people from the former Ottoman Empire, mainly Syrians and Lebanese.
The average Argentine doesnt understand the difference between Arab and Turk.

Tano is used for Italian, from Napolitano

Gallego is used for Spaniard

Polaco "Polish" is used for blonde person males.

Boli for Bolivian, Paragua (which means umbrella in Spanish) for Paraguayan
