I add nothing of value to my country or society and my government still gives me $289 a fortnight what a pathetic existence.
>>
Do they force you to look for a job?
>>
>>67809146
They just put me through getting free certificate III's in useless shit I just want an office traineeship or at a grocery store.
>>
i am very jealous

I'd get less than that by working my ass off.

Back in my first year of college I used to be groped and *service* dirty old men in exchange for moneyz, since I needed a temporary income during the first semester of renting..didn't make half as much as this fucking aussie neet not even in a full moth.
I hate first world fags.
>>
>>67809414
You realize everything in the first world is way more expensive right?

The cost of living offsets what the currency is worth.

wait until you hit new start, then you get $530 a fortnight.
>>
>>67809121
Why not get a job?
>>
>>67809446
>You realize everything in the first world is way more expensive right?
not really. a big mac here costs 2 us dollars for example and the average salary is about 400$. and a lot of people outside of moscow earn much less than that while the burger costs almost the same.
>>
>>67809590
Theres more to cost of living then the price of burgers...
>>
>>67809663
Poor americans have the consumer standards of our middle class.
No one wants to live only satisfying their absolute necessities. People want a decent car, a new TV, comfort.

And these often cost as much, if not more, than in first world countries.
>>
>>67809663
the rent eats almost half of your income here (or even more if you want to live in a decent place). gasoline, car insuarance, food, clothes etc cost a lot too. with an average salary you can barely pay for the things you need to survive.
beliece it or not but in russia many people even take a loan to go on vacation to some shitty place.
>>
>>67809761
>the rent eats almost half of your income here (or even more if you want to live in a decent place). gasoline, car insuarance, food, clothes etc cost a lot too. with an average salary you can barely pay for the things you need to survive.

Same here
>>
>>67809761
>gasoline, car insuarance
You don't need that to survive. And most people own an apartment rather than rent it, bills are usually $20-50.
>>
>>67809786
Stop memeing m8.
>>
>>67809573
I apply and apply I've had 1 interview in the last year
>>
>>67809799
But it does. Maybe not in bumfuck nowhere where land is cheap, but in cities where the jobs are it does.
>>
>>67809823
Maybe your resume is shit? Take it to a job bank or something like that and let them give you tips on a good resume, interview habits, etc.

Or are you only trying to get good jobs and refusing to do certain ones?
>>
>>67809752
That's because you guys have retarded tariff laws on shit that you don't even make.
>>
>>67809849
That's because the US is third world.

In Australia, everyone makes enough to live off of and save.
>>
My cunt literally have no autismbux
Just fuck my shit up
>>
>>67809867
It doesn't need to be Brazil, it's true for most emerging countries.

Even in China, where consumer goods are dirt cheap because they're made there, the consumer standards are lower than in any first world country.
>>
>>67809871
Okay, but I was talking about here not Australia.

And I agree, US is borderline third world in a lot of ways.
>>
>>67809929
>It doesn't need to be Brazil, it's true for most emerging countries.

That's still isn't a good measurement. Not every third world country is the same in it's standards.
>>
>>67809797
>bills are usually $20-50.

No, the US is third world. Not borderline. You mentioned the first world like we are, when we're not. We're worse than many African countries.
>>
>>67809446
Sometimes not always.
The argies get fucked economocally, I heard their food is as expensice as ours if not more over a relative who got her husband there even though their pay is as shitty as ever.
>>
>>67809960
That's why I said emerging countries. Emerging economies.
>>
>>67809947
>Borderline
>Implying

I'm surprised people aren't fleeing here en masse for refugee status
>>
>>67809988
>No, the US is third world. Not borderline. You mentioned the first world like we are, when we're not. We're worse than many African countries.

It depends where exactly. In places like Detroit or West Virginia than yeah it's hard to call them first world.

>>67809993
Okay that's fine, I'm not saying it's even all around, but I'm tired of people thinking that the first world is a fucking paradise and everyone is shipping champagne and driving around lambos. They all want to come and enjoy a meme life here that doesn't exist.

Everything this Russian says here>>67809761 eats up the vast majority of Americans income and many struggle to pay for all of it.
>>
>>67810015
I'm confused are you Australian? Your flag is US.
>>
>>67809860
As I said I am applying for anything I worked at a grocery store for a year but haven't had a job in 2 years my resume is not the problem I just went through and employment place and had it looked at they only tweaked it a little because it was already well done. I might have to do a course in plumbing and hope to get an apprenticeship
>>
>>67809975
That's what I'm talking about. You pay literally pennies ($70) for a big apartment in St.Petersburg.
>>
>>67810053
No all of America is third world. No one in first world countries has to worry about finances to the extent Americans do because of how third world it is.
>>
>>67810083
I'm a citizen of the world you bigoted American shitlord.
>>
>>67810053
>I'm tired of people thinking that the first world is a fucking paradise and everyone is shipping champagne and driving around lambos
Everyone is sipping soda and driving rusty Toyotas while living in detached houses and having +$25k/year. Many people outside of first world want to live like that.
>>
>>67810186
Like Russians are living worse than that. You have electricity running water and internet. Can't be doing too badly.
>>
>>67810220
Better than third world, worse than first world. I'm not complaining.
>>
>>67810114
>You pay literally pennies $70
but this is not a rent payment you fucking idiot. i am talking about those who don't own a flat. they usually pay at least 300 USD to rent a relatively small and shitty appartment while average salary in spb is about 45000 rubles (less that 700$).
>>
>>67810237
Maybe by Scandinavian standards, but by the average American's I haven't seen Russia to be that much different, outside maybe one of those shithole planned soviet industrial-cities.
>>
>>67810239
And I was saying most people own it, so rent is irrelevant for the majority of Russians.
>>
>>67810271
>shithole planned soviet industrial-cities.
That's the decent part of Russia dude. Try living in Siberia and see how that works for you.
>>
>>67810274
>most people own it
lmao no. a lot of people do now own a flat. stop living in your imaginary world.
also not everyone can live with their parents in a tiny flat forever.
>>
>>67809307
what a shit fucking country
>>
>>67810298
People in Siberia live in planned soviet industrial cities, almost no one lives in villages there.

Doesn't look so bad.

>$289

don't understand how you NEETs don't starve to death
>>
>>67810114
It's not rent. It is heat, water and internet.
>>
>>67810440
You can live like a king anywhere as long as you have enough money.
>>
>>67809121

LEL I earn $130 per fortnight in cash interest
>>
>>67810432
Not always. There's plenty of villages
>>
>>67810449
>stating the obvious
>>
>>67810462
It's probably way cheaper and more affordable since it's in Siberia I'm guessing.

You can get way nicer places for less money in bumfuck nowhere in the US so I'm guessing it's the same there.
>>
>>67810486
>way cheaper and more affordable
Cheaper and more affordable than in Moscow suburbs, but more expensive than in bumfuck nowhere in the US.
>>
>>67810463
Why do you have so much in cash? You'd do far better with other investments.
>>
>>67810481
Shithole post-industrial cities in Siberia aren't the decent parts of Russia they are the worst.

Even the villages are probably better since the people are closer to each other and willing to help each other out.

The Decent parts of Russia are in the west, with the best being old traditional major cities like Moscow and St. Petersburg.
>>
>>67809121
hand out resumes at maccas/grocery stores and stuff. It'll feel annoying and bad being a wagie for a while but even working part-time you'll make more money than that mate.
>>
>>67810517
Isn't Siberia the bumfuck nowhere of Russia?
>>
>>67810536
>Even the villages are probably better
Not really. At least the the cities have roads and electricity.
>>
>>67810560
Detached houses are still more expensive there than in the US.
>>
>>67810593
Probably because of supply. Here in the US there is a huge cultural aversion to living in anything but a detached house, so we don't build much of anything else in comparison.

People in other countries seem to build much more balanced with Apartment blocks and shit.
>>
>>67810591
Electricity is not that hard to get anymore even in the rural third world. It's not the 1950s anymore.
>>
>>67810698
It's about getting it regularly that's the issue.
>>
>>67810698

I thought in 1950 whole America had electricity already.
>>
>>67810762
I'm talking about what the third world was like in the 1950s.
>>
>>67809414
>I used to be groped and *service* dirty old men in exchange for money

I bet you'd still do it even for free you dirty whore
>>
>>67810746
In the rural third world like India or Brazil, not villages in Russia.
>>
>>67810662
We don't have the industry to build it en masse and don't have a huge demand, so it's more of a thing for richfags and upper middle class, so people are ready to pay more. Also, when it builds individually and in small numbers, it always costs more.
>>
>>67810852
Ah I see. Well personally I think it's mostly just meme shit.

Living in a flat in the city is better even though it's smaller imo.
>>
My dad is NEET and gets $2500 a month because he used to work and earn well years ago

This system we have is fucking shit, and I'm glad he abuses it
>>
>earn $500/week after tax
>dread every day and want nothing but to kill myself

I'm saving up for a nice car to kill myself in. Gonna drive to one of the most stunning places I know down south, eat a lot of shrooms and listen to a playlist of my all time favourites before I go gently into that goodnight.

What car would be best? I want something with leg room and really comfy seats
>>
>>67809121
Yeah I can't get a job. Like 300+ people apply for each job that I am qualified for, sometimes get interviews but no job, applied for basically everything within 15km of me now. Those that have slightly better resumes in that, get the job. Like good referees and solid past experience. I'm joining the Defence Force, I'll just do whatever has the most vacancies or what I'm able to get in, this will likely mean some obscure job that they have no one for or just a combat role, as to avoid being on a wait list for months/years. I don't really want to be a NEET. I don't have the money to pursue other things and I don't want to disappoint my family, even though I hate my family. I think training and being removed from my life & the internet, will be good for me. Hopefully after training I'm able to have a computer + internet connection, so I can browse chan, study and do programming. The salary is pretty decent and everything is paid for + lots of benefits. Could even go uni or some shit afterwards.
