I never understood Florida's pull for people. I've been there on vacations, business, drivethroughs and as stopoffs for other travel and still don't understand the appeal.

Culturally it's like taking people that wanted to be southern but got scared and stopped halfway, mixed with the worst parts of island culture and didn't properly adopt the food of either
