Life is pretty good in comparison to other Eastern European countries, shitty compared to Western European countries (Except Portugal and Greece ofc). No gibs though, so you have to work to survive so I don't consider Slovenia 1st world.
>What's the culture?
Basically the same as Austria with a few unique Slovenian elements. Also we're pretty laid-back compared to Austrians but not as much as other S. Slavs.
>What's the politics?
Centre to centre-left (whatever the fuck that means) parties have the majority in parliament at the moment. Can't tell you much more than that, because I can't be bothered to give a fuck about local politics.
