My greatparents died in Kielce, and other family members died in the hand of Poles as well.

Most of them hated the Jews because they were catholic, some because Eastern Slavs and Poles like to blame everyone but themselves for their poorness and gopnik-like, miserable lifestyle.

I also went to Krakow and Lublin two years ago on what we Israelis call a root trip (a trip you take to see where your ancestors lived before they came to Israel), where Polish thugs verbally abused one of my relatives because he was "Jewish looking" (I kind of look Slavic/Nordic and can fake an American so they assumed I was not a jew).

The only Slavs who are probably worse than the Poles in this regard are the Ukrainian, but I wouldn't know as I don't have any sort of connection to that country.
