Memes aside the gray jay is pretty cool.

Anybody who does enough hiking/camping/etc. will come to love that bird, it's amazing how tame and friendly they are with humans, even in the wild. Also, they're in the same family as crows and blue jays and crows, so as far as birds go they're pretty smart, but unlike crows and blue jays they aren't complete assholes.

Also, they're cute. CUTE!
