The government literally owns the liquor stores in my province.

Dry and semi-dry counties come from the US being eternally puritanical, not from it being fascist.
>>
>>67508298
>autism

It varies by state, and then sometimes by county.

Here in Ohio virtually every place carries wine and beer less than 40 proof. Distilled spirits are sold only in a few places that have a license. In my county there is only one store that sells distilled liquor: Krogers. It's 8 miles away in the county seat.

We have lots of drive through beer and wine stores, and even gas stations sell it.

Literally 4 alcomarkets in my block + a bar + a common supermarket (with booze, of course).

Also 18+ not 21+
>>
I just bought a high ball in 7-eleven yesterday :D :D :D
of course we can buy an beer
>>
In California you can get booze almost anywhere at any time
>>

Same thing
>>
>>67508298
What state do you live in?
>>
>>67508298
Can't buy alcohol in any supermarkets here

Aldi recently expanded to my state and they have had a nightmare of a time being granted liquor licenses because their booze is "too cheap"

Having booze too cheap is apparently a bad thing for society
>>
>>67508577
it is, especially when you have natives
>>
>>67508507

Illinois is that way too. You can't swing a dead cat without hitting a liquor store. Even the grocery stores carry a ton of hard liquor.

In Indiana you can't buy any packaged alcohol on Sunday, but you can go to a restaurant and get really hammered then drive home.

The mid-south has lots of dry counties where you can't buy anything ever. (And they worry about Sharia law! Kek!)

I believe much of the South Side of Chicago is dry, but fat lot of good it does for them.

You can buy any kind of alcohol everywhere as long as they have permits (they are for sell) Including this bad motherfuckers
>>
>>67508577
You can on the good side of the country.

Aldi beer is surprisingly good for the price.
>>
>>67508298
Liquor is only sold at government stores
>>
>buy alcohol 24/7
>drink anywhere
>can drink in cars if you're only a passenger
>liquor licenses are easy for restaurants so almost everywhere serves beer.

Almost Nihon

In Utah you can't serve draft beer over 4.0 % ABV. Bottled is ok. Liquor stores are state run and few. They close at 8PM and are closed on Sundays.

You can get alcohol until 1AM now at restaurants, and you don't have to order a meal anymore or finish your current drink before ordering another.

Things have changed a lot in the past couple of decades.

Right next door in Wyoming they have drive through hard liquor stores that are open late.

Alcohol is literally the only good thing in the Philippines.
>Spanish tradition = Flips make good beer/brandy in the region. Only Asahi in Japan is better than us.
>Drinks are all sold dirt fucking cheap.
>Sold in every store 24/7
>Nobody gives a shit about legal drinking age (18. but your daddy/uncle starts feeding you beer at 12 as per hallowed tradition). If the supermarket doesnt want to sell you drinks, you can buy in a corner store no questions/id asked
>Even as a US colony, the Philippines gave protestants the finger and did not accept Prohibition. Alcohol was legal under local Philippine law, which fuelled crime in the west coast as Filipinos smuggled alcolol to the US.

That's how the Kennedys made their money. Joe was a rum runner during prohibition, bringing booze down from Canada.

He was literally the 20s version of El Chapo or Amado Carillo Fuentes.
