Brazilians can have nice accents when they talk slowly and quietly. Bahia and RJ accents are okay regardless of your opinions of the place. They always sound very honest and naïve, but in a nice way. Maybe because they get more tress-timed when they speak more slowly.

True, but no variant of Brazilian Portuguese I've heard is even close to Euro Portuguese sounding, rhythm-wise. The ones that are usually say tch instead of t, for example. It's also a gradient, so your mileage may vary, but it's still a very present distinction.

African Portuguese is basically just syllable-timed Euro Portuguese and they sound a lot worse than Brazillians, so there's more at play here.

In the coast they don't pronounce the TH sound and in the area of Courel or Ancares they still have a bit of the nasal vowels like when instead of irmán they say irmao.
