>tfw tried to watch black mirror
>tfw had to put eng subs because I can't understand a lot of what they say
I've never seen it, but is it really hard to understand what they're saying?
On the other hand, I had to turn on the English subtitles when I watched pic related. Fucking poortherners.

I'm on the 2 first episodes, yes the accent is pretty fucking heavy, I didn't have problems to watch GoT or Guy Ritchie's movies, but this series... wtf it's like they're doing it on purpose

I have to do the same.
I have to do that alot for British movies etc.

They're speaking English, you know?
>>67432084
Of course I know. I just can't fucking understand it because they're not enunciating anything, and the pronunciations in different dialects vary so much.
Subtitles are usually mandatory unless you are familiar with every accent/dialect, which I'm sure you're not.
Don't watch films/TV shows without subtitles on just to prove something to yourself. You're probably missing out on some important shit by doing that.

that was... the point of my post

british english is literally easier to understand tbqh

It literally isn't, pancho
are there were delayed subtitles? so you don't have to choose between missing a few things every now and then and having to read them all the time.
