Sort of a long story. My ex-girlfriend is from New Delhi. I'd been planning to travel before we met. Afterwards, her parents paid for her to visit me in the States as well as her brother on the West Coast (they were loaded). Bought a ticket back to India as a Christmas gift for her, but we broke up after she went home.
Hitchhiked around Europe and took my flight to India. Made a lot of friends since I didn't have a female anchor around my ankle and kept on coming back since. I do freelance work, but I'm still a student. Don't have a big budget this time so I've done odd-jobs in India to make cash.

I already had separate tickets to Iceland and then from there to Edinburgh and then London to Lisbon. My flight to India cost $100 from Dubai to Delhi. Not like it was a huge loss.

Some of the street food here is really great, to be honest.
You should have gotten a typhoid vaccination. I got one before coming to India for the first time, as well as a few other immunizations.
