こういうデマをテレビで拡散するのは罪悪である。

固守したがるのだから、欺瞞の極致ではないか!

23兆円の元ネタは「コストを試算!日米同盟解体」であり、
これは同盟死守派のプロパガンダ本であって、計算方法が
デタラメ。
実は20年間で22兆2661億円なのだ。
つまり年間1・2兆円である。
小川和久は見破られているのに、いまだに年間23兆円という
嘘を、テレビで平然と垂れ流している。
「NEWS23」は国民に嘘を伝えるのを止めろ!

他の要素を勘案すると、自主防衛をする場合に、日本が現在の
防衛費に上乗せする額は年間1・1兆円程度である。
トランプが駐留費の増額を言ってきたら、逆にアメリカが
もっと払えと言うべきなのだ。
理想的には、自主防衛をするから米軍は撤退してもらって
結構ですと言うべきだろう。

I don't really care much about the JLPT itself although I do incorporate it into my studying just for purposes of guidance and direction. Is N1 material even worth studying if I don't care about passing the test? Like, is there a lot of actual practical, useful stuff on N1 in terms of kanji and grammar or is just all meme kanji and more obscure and/or antiquated, written, formal, grammar and shit? N2 as far as I can see covers all the elementary school kanji which is like 95% of kanji in newspapers.

I think "study the kyouiku kanji" is better advice. Study the rest of the jouyou after you've tackled this subset of it. Although jouyou is the list of basically the kanji you need to be able to be fully literate in Japanese. Kyouiku will take you as far as 95% of the way, that is true. You don't even see a lot beyond what is on the kyouiku list in a lot of novels.
