I was on interpals a few months ago and I was talking to this Japanese girl who was wearing what I presumed to be a ninja costume in her pfp. I said "hey, that's a cool ninja costume" and she replied by telling me that it actually wasn't a ninja costume, but indeed a burqa. Obviously, I was a bit surprised about this so I asked her if she was Muslim and she told me that she was irreligious and was just interested in the culture/clothing of different regions, specifically the Middle East.

I'm a western girl with no religion but I do wish that hair covers were more popular. Not full burqua but hijabs look pretty, so does old fashioned pictures of yuro women who wear scarves over their hair, i think it's a catholic thing or maybe just a working class or cold weather thing. Idk, I know shit all about europe. But it looks pretty. I like how different cultures of african women do theirs too. I'd look like an absolute hipster or a cancer patient if I tried to wear one though.
