Maanantai: seems to be derived from ancient swedish word manadagher which is related to moon.
Tiistai: derived from ancient god of war which germans knew as Ziu, scandis knew it as Tyr and anglosaxons as Tiw.
Keskiviikko: literally translated as 'middleweek' quite self explanatory.
Torstai: you can probably guess it but if not its slight translation of swedish Thorsdag - Thors day
Perjantai: bastardised from swedish word fredag which is based on goddes of love and beauty Frejan.
Lauantai: derivation of universal nordic word meaning bath day.
Comes from ancient word 'laur' meaning bath water or from ancient swedish word 'logh' meaning wash.
Sunnuntai: quite unoriginal, alteration of sunday/söndag/sonntag meaning suns day.
Sucks that we dont have any own words for weekdays coming from finnish culture/language
