The thing about taking a plane to another city is that you still need a car unless you fly to a city with good public transportation like New York or San Francisco.

I live in Florida and it's so common for people from New York to drive down here as our public transportation sucks as only poor people use them. It's also faster than get around in a car than riding the bus or taking the local commuters train.

Which is why they have car rentals and taxis right next to the airports

>tfw no 300kph HSR either
>Instead the government thinks having trains run at 120 kph is fine between Toronto to Montreal
>Not just setting up the track for HSR now while we're working on it and investing back into Canadian companies by having Bombardier develop trains for it

Fuck you Trudeau, you said you were going to improve infrastructure and not let VIA be lazy shits anymore.

If you're sad about that, be glad you don't live in Finland. The subway/metro continuation from Helsinki to Espoo started construction in 2009, and is only about 14 kilometers or 8,2 miles long. Its been delayed so many times in the last few years its become a national laughstock and a meme.
