the bigger problem is law school. Not a lawyer myself, but everyone seems to agree that the third year is simply a way for US law schools to bilk money out of their students. by the way, you have to go to a 3 year law school in order to pass the bar.

if you have to support yourself through school and start in CC or something like that it would probably take 7-10 years. Shit, since credit transfers happen so poorly you can count on 5 years of college if you're 100% on track.
