Don't be sad OP. Pic related is genuinely how my group of friends/classmates looked all throughout my life (well, stock photo people are obvs more attractive, but still).

I come from a low-income neighborhood and while there's of course some crime and racism related to that, most people just want to get along, and they usually do.

I'm from California. Over here we are at the point that we are called a "minority majority state" or something like that, where the "minority" races put together outnumber whites, although I think whites are the biggest group.

You're going to find alot of variation everywhere, even by city, because the US is hueg. But I promise there are lots of places at least here in Cali where people of all races get along, and you can talk about race related stuff without it turning weird or dangerous or anything. usually people just want to joke around. the average normie doesn't really care/know much about SJW stuff and isn't prejudiced on purpose. and honestly i would say almost everyone i know has dated interracially, it's not even something i think about, I didnt really think of interracial as being a "type" of relationship until seeing the word alot here.
