Like being back in Europe. I had just been to UAE and SEA so after having experienced a big culture shock, it was weird to travel an either further distance away from home, only to see the exact same people (but more Asians), architecture, language, culture, etc.

I was only there for a week though so I can't go into detail. As always when you travel as a tourist to another country, you mostly only get to meet other foreign tourists, not the locals.

Also Asian immigrants beat middle eastern and African immigrants any day, which I certainly saw much less of.

when i visited straya i was all liberal and ready to be outraged at white australians. And then i got there and saw literally hundreds of abos out lounging around in the sun, drinking literally all day, with their kids, who must have been out of school for the fun of it.

But then I realised that they were in Australia for fucking 30,000+ years pre-European discovery and all they did was burn down all the rainforests and convert the land to desert, killing out tons of species.
