my grandma used to raise rabbis when i was a kid, i love eating them back then, but tried one recently and it had weird smell.

I've tried it a few times when I was in Spain and it's ok, nothing special. Some people here catch them to eat but it's very very rare, only knew one person who did that personally and even then they did it once in a blue moon
