So I just want to confirm, which US candidate would be more favourable for us Canadians after all?

Whichever one removes Trudeau

I fully agree, the media here keeps posting anti Trump news 24/7
>>

If you want to make real change, you need term limits and elimination of gerimandering.

Until then, nothing changes.

Read Oswald Spengler's "Decline of the West" and you'll understand what's happening and why it's inevitable.

Keep this shit on /pol/. PLEASE.

But to answer your question, Clinton is better in the short term, Trump is better in the long term.

Clinton
>more market/currency stability if she wins
>will probably force TPP/TTIP (bad)
>will cause greater instability in the Middle East (which is bad for us, for a number of reasons)
>will continue pushing NATO toward Cold War 2: Electric Boogaloo (bad)

Trump
>markets will take a yuge hit if he wins
>will most likely reject TPP/TTIP (good)
>will renegotiate or replace NAFTA (good)
>will not destabilize Middle Eastern countries willy nilly (good)
>will not continue to antagonize Russia, who should be a partner, not a threat, in the post-Cold War world (good)

There are other benefits and costs to both candidates, but these will have the largest effect on Canada. For example, both will be utter shit when it comes to privacy and surveillance, which will affect us somewhat since we're all part of Five Eyes.

Hillary doesn't want to renegotiate NAFTA, so probably her

Not that Trump would really be able to do anything even if he was elected
>>

Or listen, idk what you like to do nigga.

You're reading right now anyway.

>if he was elected
I don't want to actually live through it but I would like to see it run as a simulation. You know, like when you save your game before trying something stupid, knowing that you're just going to turn the system off once everything goes to hell.

Literally nothing would happen. He wouldn't be able to defund Obamacare, nonessential government functions are shut off during the 3 year long government shutdown(which means nothing because ~80% of spending is mandatory), he doesn't do anything to stop Putin.

All in all it's meh/10
>>
>>66370996
Mexico is the only country benefiting from it tbfh, our manufacturing industry is fucked because of it
>>
>>66370967
>will cause greater instability in the Middle East (which is bad for us, for a number of reasons)

Does this mean bringing more rapefugees here?
>>
>>66371566
It means more refugees, more radicalized Muslims, more political instability in Europe, more Canadian tax dollars and possibly lives wasted in the Middle East, more fear-mongering, etc.
>>
>>66371953
what a bad timing to have Trudope in office baka
>>
>>66371448
Aren't you handling pretty much all of GM's shit?
>>
>>66371448
To be fair, Mexico's agricultural sector is suffering as well.
>>
>>66372401
He's handled the refugee crisis fairly well, all things considered.
