Yeah they wouldn't have shouted 'fucking whore' straight away, they'd have shouted something that was either meant as a genuine compliment or was just some working-class banter like 'show us ya tits luv'. With most whites it never progresses to anything aggressive or dangerous unless the girl gets aggressive, although I can understand some of the time when girls get pissed off about catcalling and comments about their appearance. I work in a pub and occasionally get comments about my appearance from drunk hen parties, but it's 100 times worse for female staff and some of the comments they get are downright creepy.
