Both breakfast and either lunch or dinner are mostly bread. That's the reason we are known for our sausages, too. Most sausage is actually eaten on bread. Same goes for cheese. We nearly eat as much cheese as the French. Add glorious Nutella, honey and jam and you have a full meal.

Dutch people eat bread with every breakfast and lunch.
