I don't know when my mom's family came over, but my dad's family came over in the 70's
I've been to Germany, France and Bongistan. I don't really like the cities but the small towns and villages are great.
>Where did your family come from?
Slovakia, France I think. The other side of my family has been in Canada since like the mid-1800s so I have no idea but I think they're mostly Italian. My last name is Scottish so who fucking knows, it's a mess.
>Have you ever been to Europe?
Never
>Portugal and Italy
>Yeah
>Paris sucks and so does London would not live
>Where did your family come from?
Dads family came from Britain in 1840, other side was from Quebec so I assume France a long time ago, and America(Italian)
Never been to Europe

Yes, I've been to Italy.

It's a very grandiose place, a-lot more built upon and organized then the flat, boring area I live in.
1. Dad: Germany Mom: Germany, Scotland
2. Yes, Germany, Britain, Austria, Switzerland (8x, I work for Swiss AG).
3. OK, just different in some ways. Similar in most aspects, especially Germany. There is a reason so many Germans settled in the Great Lakes region. Switzerland is quite different.
4. I absolutely love Switzerland, especially Ticino.
>italy and portugal

>British Isles & Scandinavia (Mom), Hungary, Serbia, Austria (Dad)

3/4th of my family came from Northwestern France. And the last 4th was from Thuringia. A soldier who came here as a mercenary or something in the 18th century.
I have been to Europe twice. Its nice but overall I prefer it here, although I live in a very culturally rich area so that might influence my opinion.
