Is it a bad thing if people usually assume I'm French while traveling?
When I was on vacation this summer people either thought I was French or a local, a few thought I was Italian or Spanish. Literally nobody thought I was a cheeseburger.

That's okay. When I meet french when traveling I try to say word baguette as much as I can as loud as I can when talking with friends . Also I get mistaken for chinese, japanese, korean and british lmao.

I went to an all-you-can-eat restaurant in Pennsylvania one night, and the guys who were working there thought I was german, due to my quebecois accent. I can't remember a time I felt more insulted than that.

Well, you were born as a french canadian, I don't know how Allah could have insulted someone worse.

>chinese, japanese, korean and british lmao.
What do you even look like?
I still find it weird that I was mistaken for all those south euro groups (I was in Portugal). I'm not some nordic aryan, but I'm not Alberto Barbosa either. I have brown hair, blue eyes, light skin, a narrow frame, and am 170cm. I guess my big nose does it.
Pic related, it's what I got after putting in my genetic data.

Idk, maybe by being born as a british.

Metropolitan French accents sound closer to Germans than the Quebecois one does.

Chink eyes, but slav face. I have brittish pretentious accent.
