If people think that Japanese hate them, chances are they're autists with a very limited social sense of personal responsibility.

I came into Japan thinking I'd get the worst based off what you guys told me, but it was the exact opposite for me. I just returned a week ago.

They might not be able to speak English well, but try not to be fooled by a single video some netouyo posted.
Nobody's going to tell you to go away for being white, especially if you're just there for vacation/business purposes rather than permanent residence.

And before you ask "what about those stores/signs that say "no foreigners"?", chances are those are there just because the store owner doesn't speak English and therefore it would just cause more confusion than it's worth, so they just don't want to deal with you. Same reason as why most Japanese sites don't offer international shipping; the language barrier is just too inconvenient and they would rather not deal with the hassle or potential lawsuits from giving you improper service.
