2. It's pretty nice. Always interesting seeing it in movies.
Rhodes State office tower
It's a fucking hideous example of brutalism combined with not giving a damn.
The only good part is the name: Rhodes State.
1. Bank of America Financial Center, Spokane
2. It looks ok I guess, pretty boring though.

1. Fifth-third tower; Lexington, KY
2. Nope

It's funny because Sears doesn't really exist to that extent anymore partially because of blowing its budget on that tower and also partially by refusing to adapt to stuff like K-Mart and co.
wonder what freud would say about our giant penis reaching for the sky
anways I think it looks pretty okay, I volunteer on saturdays right next to it, always catch myself staring up, sometimes there are people doing a walk outside on the edge, even though they're strapped in it scares me...
>>65692172
Sometimes a Space Needle is just a space needle.

>>65692014
2. It's pretty fucking beautiful imho
Much better looking than the former WTC
In Dubai it's the Burj Khalifa
I'd say it's not bad looking. I guess I'm attracted to the neo-futurism/glassy look in supertall buildings.
>>65692276
>Much better looking than the former WTC
desu I kind of liked the old design better, the facade looked more interesting
>>65692253
>432 Park
That thing is like the Chile of buildings kek

Technically it would be the Torre Reforma but while it's gone taller than pictured it's still not completed which technically becomes the third largest in a couple of years. Hard to keep track of these things in big cities.
meh, it's not an eyesore but I don't particularly like it.
>>65692378
A truly international city if I do say so myself kek
>>65692412

meh, at least you're not going full retard new rich like gulf arabs
>>65692014
The new WTC tries to cheat with a "spire"/antenna. Only top floor/roof should count. By that measure, I think the winner is that apartment tower by Central Park.
Anyway...
>Portland, Oregon - The Wells Fargo Center (116.4m/546ft). Finished in 1972.
>It's kind of ugly
It's a very generic 70's-era box building. And it's not even that tall for a major skyscraper. But the view is nice; I met with a lawyer near the top floor once and you can see a huge expanse of the city from his office window.

nah, we were just like "oh shit, this thing is just going to happen to be as high as the year our nation was founded"
>>65693636
>making it 1776 feet tall instead of 1776 miles tall
Why even live, America?
>>65693514
Yeah; it's a bit pretentious, especially given that it's with the spire only, but I see how some see it to be like pottery.
>>65693132
>has tallest building in the world
The WTC hadn't been tallest in the world since 1973, IIRC. The Petronas Twin Towers were the tallest as of 9/11, IIRC.
apparently it's this lmao wtf I've lived here all my life and didn't even know this building existed
>>65692253

But in any case Europe's not a continent known for their skyscrapers.
Could use a new coat of paint.
What's funny is that Trump lives like 10 minutes away from them as his second home is in my city.
