When going to draw a "finalized" sketch/concept art of a character. How big should it be? I seemingly draw way too small to where I can't put in facial features correctly. The eyes always turn out like utter shit, etc.

Sketchbook wise, should one "finalized" figure be at least half the page? As of right now I'm just drawing with regular pencils, nothing special really.

Not to mention, drawing lips to look 3D/not flat garbage is seemingly impossible for me, I don't know why.
