You can't give up, you use the internet. On the internet there are many art pieces, it's an endless cycle.

If by this you mean keeping characters on-model, that's a problem. Keep practicing. Make character sheets and work off of those every time you draw those characters

Awfully wrong, simplistic designs have always been overlooked as long as the writing is good ( PPG, Dexter Lab, Sailor Moon, Any decent comic ever )
