they stop studying and exercising, instead they got moderately decent and then they sell out drawing porn or fanart for the rest of their lives because it pays the bills.

stuff about what the market is, who's in it, and maybe even how to spot mistakes in my own shit
the best part is all the time they spend bickering on xyz, xyz is drawing. every second they spend getting assblasted, xyz is getting good sleep at night

Stupid to hate someone for either, though. I think it's very rare for artists who have been actively drawing for a few years to hate on other artists, even anonymously. Art is frustrating and then very freeing, and those feelings seem to be reflected by beginner and competent artists, respectively.

I have more experience as a photographer than a visual illustrator. My critique on other artists, most of them are more skilled than me, has always been on the shallow subject theme and banal style rather than technical skill. This is /ic/ - Artwork/Critique, not /ic/ - Illustration/Critique, we gotta criticize art as a whole.
