I don't like being unable to draw anything I like, which is common obviously. How do you get past that? I literally can't do anything I'd like to do.

Draw what you like, you're able to. It may suck if you're a beginner but just keep drawing and working on those flaws. Music makes drawing more fun for me but most of the time I just have movie reviews playing in the background. I also sometimes like to have my phone play deviantart cringe compilations when I draw so I can feel better about my art skill.
