like i get it has to be diverse but that's also really vauge like should it be diverse subject wise, style wise, meme wise? what are some must haves? what are the main tattoo styles? why does google fail me?

Are you trying to become a tattooist? Or is this just your drawing portfolio for companies and clients?
And I sure as shit hope you aren't putting fucking memes in your portfolio

If this is a tattoo portfolio to become a tattooist they say to have a bit of everything which is exactly that, you should be decent at doing Japanese styles/American traditional/black and grey work/geometric/scripts etc
