My bad forgot to resize from phone. Any critique would be really appreciated. I've come to /ic/ all the time but never really dawn much. I just loved drawn art. I recently found myself with a lot of time off and I want to improve and something I've noticed from /ic/ is an agreement of educated progress vs blind practice. I just feel like the loomis books are a great way to learn fundamentals.

the loomis meme itself is a meme, you'll come to understand it. The people on here that actually have some skill understand it, the people who don't have skill, think it really is a meme. Just read the books (though you could have easily torrented them), take what you can from them. Start with fun with a pencil, covers a broad range of topics. Though desu I would have gotten successful drawing instead, fun with a pencil is targeted toward a younger audience.

His earlier chapters are much better written. I mean in arms chapter he starts to speed up and doesn't explain the placement of muscles well enough. His core muscle chapters are top notch though.
