Are there any people on /ic/ that earn money by drawing whatever they like (patreon and such)? I feel like it's my ultimate goal and I'd like to hear a couple of tips for that direction.

I make money off furry pr0n & concept art. Graduate from Art Center but cannot find a job even if graduating from top of class.
First piece of advice. Art school is a meme. Loomis is a meme. Pickup How to draw a Scott Robertson that's all you need. Anything else is sh8t. "How to Render" is same as How to draw so don't bther wth it.
Grind 16hrs a day. 7 days a week. Post on devianart and ppl WILL FIND YOU.
Also /ic/ is meme. Don't suc /ic/ DiCK.

Patreon and such is 199999% dependent on how many followers you have, and the rest on your actual skill. Seems obvious, but there are so many complete unknowns who try making a patreon. On deviantart I noticed you should have AT LEAST 2,000 watchers before you even consider it. I've seen people with 15,000 watchers who make enough for a living.

draw porn, seriously it's surprising the amount of money people are willing to spend on certain genres.

If you don't mind stepping out of your comfort zone start drawing for smaller fetish communities that don't get much new art. Corner the market or whatever.

I mean, if you dont like that stuff than don't. A lot of people don't want to, that's why it can be so profitable. I mean look at Incase's patreon, 5 grand a month for the stuff he/she makes plus the commisions, and all he/she draws is dickgirls and midgets

I've charged for a couple of things, I'm not the best artist around but hey, baby steps.

Yeah but small fetishes are small because there arent a lot of people into it. So how can you make money from it? How to find small fetishes people?

I'm aware that Imgur.com will stop allowing adult images since 15th of May. I'm taking actions to backup as much data as possible.
