What does /ic/ use to beat writers/artist block?
Currently using "what to draw" prompt generator but it's outlived its usefulness.
Any cool prompt generators or other tools you could recommend?

Stimulants, they make me want to do stuff and I feel like I can imagine shit and be amused by merely imagining stuff.

Something I do is just draw random shapes or try to make interesting silhouettes on the page. An idea either comes to me when I put down some simple shapes or I just start trying to fill in the shape and make everything up as I go along. After I warm up with one or two of these it gets kinda easier to think about what I want to draw or study.

One big motivator for me is just really seeking out my muse for the week/month/day/etc. If nothing really inspires me, I become spontaneous and try new things, be it a new series or game, or just doing an art study of something I've always wanted to get better at. It's good to keep in mind that an artist block is a little deeper than simply not wanting to draw and having that feeling lasting for a long time. Artist's block may be connected to self-esteem, boredom, or a loss of meaning. Naturally, charging your work with a purpose and just starting can work wonders. One thing I've started to realize is that drawing just one or two subjects for days can really bolster confidence because naturally the focus gives your mind less to worry about and you can easily spot your gradual improvements and what you've learned. Granted, I'm a bit of a scatterbrain and impatient so your story may be different. Mehh hope this helps though it isn't exactly a physical or tech "tool."

Read the art of war
Besides that is sheer cold perseverance, do everyday, even if you don't feel like it, even if its small, even if you are sick, even if its shit
The key is never letting the flow stop completely
