>fell for the full time job meme
My chance to become good is over but I hope you NEETs invest most of your time well.
>>3043058
you can still switch to a half time job, or not?
>>3043060
Not for the next 4 years.
>>3043063
Then you might get your chance to become a better artist in 4 years. Until then, use your freetime to draw a bit on the side to stay in practice.

I didn't include it in the OP although it's important but before getting this job I was a NEET for 3+ years. I wasted my time till my chance to become good at a professional level was gone. I don't regret getting a job because I think I would just continue to waste time otherwise.
Ultimately I wasn't cut out to learn art to begin with so blaming it on a full time job is very misleading. If anything I hope a job will teach me how valuable time is and give me another opportunity at art after I go trough the mental development those years will provide.

This sounds very reasonable. I wish you the best!

lol, what are you? 20s? 30s? Your chance is not gone. Many, many, many people have accomplished bigger dreams than yours with harder challenges before them and fewer options. Never count yourself out with naysaying.
I started art while still busy in college and still managed to make enough time to draw even a bit day, even with college assignments and tests and projects. Honestly a full-time job would be easier.

Should've just taken deep breaths and done 2 pushups/had a shower bro
OP you will be fine. I didn't draw for years until halfway through my first year in college, and started to do it more often. If you have any free time at all, it can still go to drawing. It's impossible to get worse from any amount of practice.

Don't you have a lot of downtime in college though? Like weeks or months at a time.

Just draw in your free time and challenge yourself every now in then. Don't solely think about getting better, just draw.
