my favorite part about manga is the diversity of the artists' vision. the nips industry is so huge there are magazines willing to publish anything, and artists are allowed to really pursue their creativity. look at this artist, you can tell she loves clothes and beautiful fabrics. although with some, you can tell they really prefer the writing and storytelling aspect instead of the art.

I hate to say it, because there's a lot of work put into that image, but there's too much detail. It's too "busy" to the eye, it's hard to focus on any one area, because the patterns draw the eye from every part of the piece. Detail should be used selectively - the closer to the focus, the level of detail should go up.

What? the japanese manga/anime industry is over saturated with copy-pasted crap, thats why even in some conventions they host for new artist show their new creations they have a shitload of filters to avoid wastign time with work on ''heavy inspirations'' of some other popular show
Thats why in the last years we never had an anime as influential as EVA, Elfen Lied or fucking K-ON unless you count shonenshit which is basically Narutards, DBZ remake and those kind of bullshit
