Well it's a massive platform for image sharing. Reasonably customizable blog with good templates, huge userbase.
To be fair though, you're better off going on Instagram directly at this point, everyone's been jumping ship for a while beacuse Instagram is plain better. At this point most of my Tumblr posts are forwards from Instagram.
