I really need advice
I go to an art school and am studying fashion design
I'm going my prerequisites and finished Drawing 1 and just started Drawing 2
Today we had one of our first assignments and had to do a ton of gesture drawings of a still life that was a folding chair with a bunch of random objects next to it, like some strangely shaped vases, a watering can, and a sphere
Every time my drawings came out extremely disproportionate
And my drawings are always disproportionate
And I always hit a point in drawing where I feel like I don't know what to add or do next
I feel like my brain can't properly process and render what I need to put on paper and proportions
I'm worried I won't be able to draw properly ever and that I should drop out and pursue another career because I know i'll fail a drawing class eventually and not be able to pursue my major
Has anyone else had this problem?
Am I really unable to understand proportions?
Do I just need a shit ton of practice?
Please help i'm losing my mind and freaking out worrying about wasting my time at this school
Why don't you ask your teachers? They're there for a reason.
