Can we get a thread for very dark/deranged art? I'm specifically looking for art that evokes difference or negative emotions but involving people. For example, a woman with a cold, dead stare or something to that effect.

im tired of seeing beksinski paintings and scary stories i heard once at camp art so no we can't.
>>3023626
Well I'm not really looking for Beksinski.
here come a few, first from Phil Hale. his paintings look like scenes from nightmares
nother Phil Hale
something about the soft dark sunlight makes it look really contrived but mysterious
love phil hale.
next is dean cromwell
more like dream cromwell
darker stuff
for a bonus, also look up wylesol. his alt drawings are inspired by his time working nights at a hospital, and to me instill feelings of loneliness and detachment. They're really strange and dark

sorry, Dean Cornwell. autocorrect
This is painted by me, had exactly what you said in mind when painting it.
She barely looks human.

garbage try hard bullshit

Looks like someone is jealous
>>3024921
yes. All comments you don't like equate to jealousy.
this is pretty cool
>>3024957
no. no it isn't. You fucking weeb
One of mine.
>>3024985
>signed this piece of shit
fucking kill yourself
>>3024923
No, but yours in particular show a strong sense of slef loathing ;)
>>3024957
lol good joke
>>3024888
This fucking sucks my dude
Check your ego because it is shit, people telling you the truth isn't "haters being jealous"
Grow up
>>3024888
well, it looks human... your painting is boring though. There's little technical skill shown, composition is lackluster, and it makes me feel nothing. I could see this hanging in a teenager's room though as a free gift from their goth friend. p trash m8, but hey at least you're proud of it.
>>3023622
Personally, I am currently very inspired by the atmosphere Dragan Bibin creates.

phil hale is awesome. this is one of my favorites from him. it conveys so much urgency through the askew horizon and visibly exhausted figures, who seem to be running away from something. something just far away enough to be out of sight but still poses a threat to the men to make them keep sprinting. the tensions and scale is fucking amazing; you have no idea what's making them run so hard so you have to imagine something yourself.
>>3024888
Unironically, how big is it? I might consider buying it if you're selling.
>>3024888
Did this a few years ago, bleach and charcoal on cardboard. Its of a woman from hiroshima (before the bomb)
I have some stuff that I saved from art threads in gurochan's /f/ back in the day.

Thanks, found out that the illustrator was Phoebe Gloeckner. Also I think that pic was upside-down.

I had a super cool teacher in 5th grade, I was living in Chicago and he knew i was a morbid kid.
I was a terrible speller (Chicago public schools) and he said if I got 100% on the spelling test he'd take me to a slaughter house to collect goats eyes for a dissection.
I got 100% but the dude bailed on me and I got real upset and stole everything off his desk and held it hostage.
We agreed he would take me, and a small group to a neruology lab a friend of his worked at.
This was around '95. Turns out they were working on one of the first full 3D sectioning of a human cadaver. I got to slice the frozen corpse of a prison inmate with a giant fucking table saw!
One of the best days of my life.
Ok, I'll stop posting because I see now that this stuff isn't exactly what OP is looking for.
>>3023622
Dark Darranged art you say?
BEHOLD Joel-Peter Witkin!
This dude raids morgues and poses corpses, also he loves deformed people, and yes, this is a still life containing a dead baby and amoutated foot.
>>3026045
Oh, I have some photos of I think his work, but didn't post because, hey, they are photos or photomanipulations.

I can't post it now, but that magritte painting where the guy and his reflection both show the back of his head is unsettling as fuck
Anyone have the painting of some little girl sitting at a table (I think maybe with food on it) and in the background is completely black but black as in it fades into shadow. Gives you a real sense of uneasyness.

>thread for very dark/deranged art
Translation: Shit, cringeworthy art incoming
>>3026573
some of it is really awesome.
youre just an animu autismo plebian faggot. go choke on a kykes coke like a bullet. you fucking bitch boi.
>>3026578
Phil Hale and Alex Colville are both good (though Colville is obviously not dark/deranged). Pretty much everything else in this thread is an embarrassment.

Here's a classic
I don't know if it's a douchebag thing to post your own stuff but I made this a while back - it's isaac from Binding of Isaac. you can watch a timelapse of me making it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5XEUG0TfVmg
I'm loving the darker stuff more and more as time goes by
