If photoshop says your picture is 6x4 inches big, and you want to print it at a much bigger size, say 12x10, can you do that without getting a blurry picture printed out?
oh and 6x4 = 15x10cm, 12x10 = 31x25cm, approx.

depends on the resolution, which is dpi in photoshop

The dpi is 350.

should probably be okay then i would have though, did you try printing it and it was blurry?

I haven't yet. I would hate to shell out the money for a high quality print only to get a blurry picture back.

just zoom the picture 200-250% and decide if it looks good enough
>>3013816
well it probably is a bit too low resolution for a high quality print, even at 6x4 it wouldn't be the best

i use 600 dpi so it can be printed at 300 or whatever, 350 is really just fine for 6 inches, i was being a bit overzealous about what constitutes 'high quality' even 175 for the 12inch version isn't terrible. i was thinking like fine art prints.
