Ink in a relatively high resolution. Use a small brush. Look at pixiv, the jap artists often publish works full resolution. It usually looks way more sloppy when you see it full rez

You want to work at a resolution that still has workable pixels at a 200% zoom. It will make your curves smoother, and your color transitions smoother - and make painting small details easier. You can cut the larger file down when you finalize it - you'll preserve the details.
