my brain is too small to pick up drawing and that fact really depresses me. i hear about a phenomenon in digital art in which someone will be zoomed in to work on a fine detail and then zoom out to realize the proportions do not work out with the rest of the drawing. i have that but for everything. i cant focus or envision anything in my head but the few centimeters in my current stroke. i got too many problems in my head to ever achieve anything creative
please do not take your skill for granted

bro its like cramming your foot into a shrunken sock fresh from the dryer. Except 100x. Your brain ain't small, you just gotta jimmy it for a while til it gets you close to satisfactory performance/results. But DONT ever think this is all you can do, because then you'll become blind to your own progress. Always have that impossibly high, pretentious, unrealistic expectations of yourself, at least somewhere deep down. And keep drawing.
K that is my motivational post for the day. Fuck you for wasting this board's time. And for the record, I know exactly what you speak of. for a while I felt like I was suffering from some kind of blindness. It was almost as frustrating as walking on atrophied legs, I wanted to break things and cry. I'm not saying I made it out, but I'm glad I didn't quit.
