Political art is a joke. The problem with political cartooning is that it only depicts the ironies of the politician -- which only succeeds in making them more compelling to their audience, it doesn't succeed in warning readers away from a potential candidate.
Society is more compelling than politics, which is why business manga is more engaging -- there you can explore the ironies of both the purveyor and consumer before commenting on broader social trends.

Yeah, I'm working on one of stickman right now. I kept having people tell me to make political art and "protest art" at uni and I kinda wanted to do the opposite of what they were expecting
