When you have no success, the success of others annoys you greatly. people who have no success (armchair critics) are hyper critical of the work of others, and can only see the flaws and not the merits. they see the flaws and go "pfft, ****I*** could have done better!" it's an ego thing

Ironically it is this hyper criticalness that is WHY they have no success, they can only see the flaws in their own work and not the merits or improvements, so they get discourage and refuse to publish anything that isn't perfect.

as to the why, idk. it's just great envy and insecurity. it's a form of bullying. lashing out in anger and frustration at the wrong things because you can't do anything about the real source of the problem.
