Yeah, it's permanent. Been trying to deal with it for years. I get occasional breaks of a few weeks where I'm motivated and productive, but drawing is mostly associated with misery.

I can at least speak for myself when I say that the best way out of a creative rut is to just draw something you like and immediately destroy it afterwards. I often show what I draw to my friends or strangers, and when I do I expect approval. Soon my art becomes a way of getting my approval fix, rather than my SATISFACTION fix, and that's a very important distinction. Are you drawing because you just want yourself and other people to appreciate its outcome, or are you drawing for the very pleasure of it? This is why most people end up doing porn. Porn is fun to draw because every little curve makes feel aroused (if you do it well). I imagine the old masters felt the same way about trees and shit.

No specific advice, just take it easy, don't push yourself to be crative and instead do some perspective and form exercises (impossible to mess up) until they give you that sense of accomplishment, which will remind of why you started drawing in the first place.
