You see here what is clearly a little girl, confidently flexing a full grown woman's leg, satisfied with herself but unaware of the implications. Her childish idea of maturity is to just "look adult", and this need for the feeling of self-sufficiency probably comes from neglect. It's a cry for help wrapped in defiance. The adults in her short life have already failed her, and so she fires back by rejecting what adults say girls her age shouldn't act or dress like. Probably starved for her father's attention and bound for a life of unhealthy promiscuity and codependent relationships
