What should I take into account I need to grind:
So far I came up with these:
>Perspective
>Anatomy
>values
>Rendering
>Focal point
>line of movement
>Composition
>Materials
>Color theory
Do I need to grind anything else?

Sorry sweety, practice is useless without those ;)

>Perspective
>Anatomy
generic, "use 3d objects in perspective to draw people"
>values
>Rendering
generic, "Use perspective to find where the light source is"
>Composition
this is where I think books will help the most. Idk if books on cinematography will help
>Focal point
>line of movement
>Materials
>Color theory
I havent gotten this far yet

the most important thing is the actual art part of art, like for example gesture drawing, if you're not actually trying to communicate the gesture and you're just drawing a body in a pose then you won't get as much out of it. another example might be faces, if you draw a million pretty girls with no expression from the shoulders up you'll never really learn to draw faces well.
your progress should go from drawing interesting things badly to drawing interesting things well, not from drawing interesting things badly to drawing boring things badly to draw boring things well to drawing interesting things. it may well work out for some people but it's a longer road.

Story, design, appeal and mood always come first, doesn't matter if you are a beginner or a pro, if you have nothing to say just go and see the world instead of grinding naked dudes
