Hello, im not sure what is this borad's stance to digital tablets but if there are people who uses it, i would like to read your opinion.
I have this wacom tablet which I've been using it for years, the benefits of using it is that I can work on it anywhere as long as there is a table but recently I stumbled to this new cintiq which can run an OS, i think is great but I haven't read much about people that have it. Will this be a good invest? I could go for a cintiq hd but I don't work in one place that often. Are there other alternatives that are cheap?

I had the Cintiq Companion for a year now. Have to admit I never use the companion part. I tried but ... it just feel awkward and there was a lot of lag. I just didn't like the drawing programs on Android - maybe there are better programs now, but my Wacom is on my table all day and hooked up to my PC and Photoshop.
But for that it works just fine. Far better to draw with it than my old "normale" monitorless wacom tablet (which name I forgot, sorry).

the companion 2 is suppose to be a keyboardless laptop that can run software like photoshop or zbrush just to draw, sounds too good to be true, or mayb im being skeptical
I've had monitorless tablets but I hated working on those. Invested in a cintiq24 and companion 2 and I can say it was worth it to me. The companion basically replaced my laptop, it's my only pc in the house now.

does it run good? how much the battery last? doesn't it overheat? how big is the harddrive? i mean im not planning to save a lot of files and carry a harddrive
Runs great, comes with w8 too. Battery lasts a good while, although I can't give estimates because I mostly leave it plugged in. Doesn't overheat but gets warm like any device. Mine is 256gb, there are also 128 and 512gb versions.

i'll have to consider it also to see how big it is to see if it can fit in my backpack or get a messenger bag for it

>SP4
I tried it out at the store, had to push the glass to the LCD to get 100% pressure, and the starting pressure was way too high. It's also expensive.
SP5 is said to be coming soon, so I'll wait for reviews. Though I'll probably just pick up a nice laptop+Huion
