Would making tutorial vids on Youtube actually be a viable investment of your time if you were a top-tier skilled artist? I know most people giving tuts are fairly mediocre, so someone like Rapoza or Craig Mullins doing part-time tuts on fundamentals to advanced stuff has me wondering - what kind of interest would that generate?
No
Fundamentals are the same for almost everyone
It would be pointless to teach your supersekrit filter settings and so because: a) it won't matter if the watcher doesn't have the fundamentals, b) who does even want copycats anyways

not me, merely a coincidence
turn the autism down a notch
It might give person a new audience but it wont generate as much money wise(maybe it'll increase sales of your stuff like books or premium tutorials, but the free stuff you are gonna do on YouTube won't be anything but advertisement)

Streams generate more money and interest than tutorials do.
